The ​​​​​​​Language Centre

The Language Centre of the University of Pavia provides students, lecturers, all the administrative staff of the university and external citizens and institutions with facilities for the teaching and learning of languages.

The Centre promotes the international dimension of the University through the diffusion of the knowledge of languages, including Italian as a foreign language, with educational, research and cultural scientific initiatives. To this end the Centre:

• provides teaching, technology, materials and linguistic advice;
• organises extra-curricular language courses;
• carries out linguistic proficiency assessment activities (Erasmus test );
• promotes the diffusion, achievement and recognition of international certifications for foreign languages;
• participates in research activities in the field of linguistics and language teaching.
